Training for 2017

Today the troops were in training for this year's upcoming events.

The ladies have measured up our men up for new waistcoats and breeches, it's great seeing the men back in uniform. Our ladies have been swapping ideas on 18th dresses and patterns, they were having such a giggle with the soldiers.

47th Regiment of Foot have gone through the drills step by step, some of the men have forgotten how heavy the muskets are to maneuver (I'm sure they will build up strength in time). As the training goes on, they all become synchronized by the end the day. It looked amazing.

It was lovely to meet some of the new members, they have some fantastic ideas that could really improve our networking with social media.

We cannot wait for our first event in April at Astley Hall in Chorley.
