Redcoats recruiting Pirates

Will you take the King's shilling?

We gave 2 options convert from being a pirate and become a redcoat, or be arrested and thrown in the Mersey.

The end result was we had recruited over 300 pirates (all children..get them while their young), we could have got more but we ran out of the King's Shilling. We'll have to raid the treasury next year.

This was the busiest event of the year, and nearly all our redcoats and ladies lost our voices from talking to hundreds of people.

Our other duties were to guard the Mermaid during the parade around the docks , we were very honoured. A big thank you to the Royal Albert Dock and Fit the Bill for organising this event.
